Umart Online West Ryde Sydney

Excellent service and fast response. I ordered a cable at 4pm but they close at 6pm. I need the cable urgently, so I made a phone call to their customer service to push up a little bit. Thanks for Ian’s great help, I managed to get the cable by 5:10pm! Highly recommended. Good price and excellent service. Definitely come back again

While Umart offers great quality components, their customer service email and phone centre are a joke. For the last 2 weeks I've been continuously told a pre-opened computer is then isn't available at the West Ryde store. I've been trying to get in contact with the store but to no avail as the customer service offers don't seem to understand. They also can't seem to figure out there is a difference between a pre-opened singular item and buying one from factory. The kicker was today I got an email asking me to confirm if I want a computer or just the case. 😂 I'm sorry but please improve the online customer service because at this stage, I don't know if it's funny or pathetic. Reference: 706521 Update: They don't understand what I mean by wanting to be put in touch with the store and am being forwarded to the technical team. Update 2: They've confirmed it is in stock but still couldn't answer my question if they are able to have it to delivered to QLD. Conclusion: After more than 3 weeks they've finally been able to tell me they can't deliver it. What a journey....

Purchased $4000 Creator Laptop. After 3 months a screw came lose inside, I was advised to return the laptop for repair. A bit ridiculous for just a lose screw, but whatever, it happens. After 2 weeks and me chasing Umart I was told it's finally ready for collection. Here are when the problems begin. The screw had caused damage inside the laptop. My RGB keyboard no longer functioned properly and I was have phantom touching on my screen along with the trsck pad no longer working. Again I was advised to return the laptop for further repairs. All confirmed in store that these issues are happening. So I sent the product to Umart who gave me the runaround. Advised they could not replicate the fault. Advised they sent the product to the manufacturer who could not replicate the fault. After a 36 back and forth emails and conversations, Umart refused to provide any resolution - no repair, replacement or refund. They have now had my laptop for 6 weeks. NSW fair trading are now involved and pursuing action with them. Stay away from Umart, they will not help you when something goes wrong and they will fob you off with "we're sorry" and "we're looking into it" Absolute joke of a company.
